The Longitudinal Luo Vessel network offers us the opportunity to move challenging and traumatic emotional experiences and pathology from the Primary channels to reservoirs of latency until the spirit has the resources and space to process and release them. When this mechanism is jeopardized due to resource depletion, emotional repression, or habitual abuse, the system becomes overwhelmed and results in chronic mental health disorders. Without intervention, both emotional and environmental pathogens can penetrate further into the Transverse & Extraordinary Luo Vessel networks, threatening terminal organ inflammation and/or hereditary transmission between parents and child. In this course we will explore the:

  • Metabolism and spirit of Xue Blood and its role as a medium in latency
  • Longitudinal Luo Vessels as the most transformative intervention for mental health disorders
  • Use of Transverse Luo Vessels in the prevention and treatment of visceral inflammation
  • Treatments to prevent the hereditary transmission of pathology and generational trauma
  • Diagnosis, protocols, and techniques of the Luo Vessel networks

Co-sponsored by the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College of Berkeley and the Classical Acupuncture Mentorship.
